If you come to a restaurant and see a sign on some table saying “Band qilingan” or “Bron qilingan”, this means that the table is reserved.
Both forms are grammatically correct, but there are stylistic and contextual differences:

| Band qilingan | colloquial, local | very often used in Uzbekistan in restaurants, especially in national establishments |
| Bron qilingan | more formal, borrowed | may be used in hotels, airports, menu systems, cafés of medium and high level |
Acceptable restaurant sign:
Colloquial style:
“Bu stol band qilingan” — This table is reserved
(but usually just “Band qilingan” is written — like “Reserved” in English or “Стол заказан” in Russian)
Formal style:
“Bron qilingan” — Reserved
