Small talk at a café table — Uzbek language lesson

Today we continue studying conversational Uzbek and learn how to make small talk in a restaurant or café. You will learn how to ask whether seats are available, explain where you are from, and keep a short dialogue with new acquaintances. The lesson is especially useful for tourists, as well as for those who live or work in Uzbekistan and want to feel confident in informal settings. In the dialogue, you will encounter the use of personal pronouns and verbless sentences in the present tense — in affirmative, interrogative, and negative forms.
