Affirmative sentences

Sizlar — you (plural polite)

Ular — they

U and ular are usually not omitted.

Negative sentences

Negative sentences are formed with the word emas and the corresponding affix. In this case the affix is not attached to the noun or adjective but attached to the word emas.

In spoken language, emas and the noun or adjective before it are often pronounced as one word, and the letter e in emas is dropped.
