Which souvenirs are called “suvenirlar” in Uzbek and how are they pronounced correctly? In this lesson, you will learn the names of the most popular gifts from Uzbekistan: from mugs and tubeteikas to T-shirts, key rings, and plush teddy bears. Everything comes with audio from native speakers, practice, and exercises. Souvenirs in Uzbek are also called esdalik sovg‘alari.

Exercise 1. Look at 8 souvenirs. Listen and repeat the words. Then cover the words, look at the souvenir shop (esdalik sovg’alari do’koni) in the picture above, and name the souvenirs.
