Which souvenirs are called “suvenirlar” in Uzbek and how are they pronounced correctly? In this lesson, you will learn the names of the most popular gifts from Uzbekistan: from mugs and tubeteikas to T-shirts, key rings, and plush teddy bears. Everything comes with audio from native speakers, practice, and exercises. Souvenirs in Uzbek are also called esdalik sovg‘alari.
Exercise 1. Look at 8 souvenirs. Listen and repeat the words. Then cover the words, look at the souvenir shop (esdalik sovg’alari do’koni) in the picture above, and name the souvenirs. Then answer the question: which souvenirs are typical for your country. (Mamlakatingizdagi odatiy suvenirlar nima?)

Exercise 2. Label the pictures using the words from the list.
kepka, do’ppi, kalitlar dastasi, krujka, lagan, sharf, ayiqcha, futbolka
