The Tashkent overground circular metro line resumed service on Saturday, November 1, 2025, the state enterprise “Tashkent Metro” reported.
“Starting this morning, November 1, the line has been fully opened to passengers, and 12 trains are currently operating on the route with a 7-minute interval,” the enterprise said in a statement.
The circular line includes 14 stations from “Tekhnopark” to “Qipchoq.” The first section of seven stations opened in 2020, and the second in 2023.
The line was completely closed for “scheduled maintenance work” in the summer of 2025. Its reopening was initially expected on October 18 but was later postponed to early November.
