The government will increase salaries, pensions, scholarships and social benefits under Presidential Decree No. PF-115, signed on June 23, 2026.
Some changes will take effect on July 1, while others will come into force on September 1.
Pensions and benefits to rise by 7% from July 1
Starting July 1, 2026, pensions, social benefits, child allowances and financial assistance payments for families included in the Social Register will increase by 7%.
Minimum pension amounts
- Minimum old-age pension: 983,000 soums per month (currently 918,000 soums);
- Minimum disability pension: 1,083,000 soums per month (currently 1.012 million soums).
Child benefits
For families included in the Social Register:
- One child under the age of 3: 386,000 soums (currently 360,000 soums);
- One child aged 3 to 18: 295,000 soums (currently 275,000 soums);
- Additional payment for a second child: 177,000 soums (currently 165,000 soums);
- Additional payment for a third and each subsequent child: 118,000 soums (currently 110,000 soums).
Financial assistance
Monthly financial assistance for families included in the Social Register will be set at 450,000 soums (currently 420,000 soums).
Pension calculation base will also change
From July 1, 2026, the base amount used for calculating pensions will be set at 504,000 soums per month (currently 471,000 soums).
This indicator is used in determining pension payments.
Salaries and scholarships to increase from September 1
Starting September 1, 2026, salaries of employees of budget-funded organizations and scholarship payments will increase by 7%.
The measure applies to workers employed by state-funded institutions as well as students receiving scholarships.
What will the minimum wage be?
From September 1, 2026:
- The minimum monthly wage will be 1,360,000 soums (currently 1.271 million soums);
- The base calculation value (BCV) will be set at 440,000 soums (currently 412,000 soums).
The BCV is used to calculate many state fees, fines and other mandatory payments.
