Sanjar Karimov, also known as Real Sanjik, has been taken into custody. He is accused under two criminal articles, and internet users link his arrest to the seizure of a house from a Tashkent resident. Karimov is often referred to as a car blogger, while only the inactive company Finans Invest has been mentioned in connection with him. We, however, have identified six active companies linked to Sanjar Karimov. At least, the Sanjar Karimov associated with Finans Invest and the companies we found share the same full name.
Charges against Sanjar Karimov
“The Mirabad District Criminal Court considered materials submitted at the request of the First Deputy Prosecutor of Tashkent city for applying a preventive measure in the form of detention against S.K. (male, born in 1990, native of Namangan region, founder of KSB ‘Finans Invest’), detained under Article 227 of the Criminal Procedure Code and accused of crimes under Part 1 of Article 112 and Part 2 of Articles 25, 273 of the Criminal Code,” — states the official message from the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan.

According to these articles, Karimov is accused of threatening violence or murder and preparing for the manufacture, acquisition, storage, or sale of drugs.
The press service of the Supreme Court added: “By the court ruling of November 28, 2025, the request of the First Deputy Prosecutor of Tashkent was granted. A preventive measure in the form of detention was applied to the accused S.K., and he was placed in a detention center.”
Karimov — a popular car blogger?
Karimov is often called a popular car blogger; however, his Instagram accounts currently have a small number of followers. A page that allegedly had up to half a million followers is no longer accessible — the profile has been deleted.
In a video released on Jahongir Latipov’s YouTube channel a year ago, Sanjar Karimov claimed he owns a $4 million villa and a collection of 35 cars.

Pledged or sold house
Karimov was a witness in the case of a deceived Tashkent resident, Jamila Olimboyeva. According to her, her fiancé Shahzod Rismatov convinced her parents to pledge their house, but the transaction was executed as a sale, with Sanjar Karimov as the buyer.
According to Olimboyeva, her family received no money; however, Karimov claims he purchased the house for $240,000 with the consent of all family members.
Shahzod Rismatov was sentenced to nine years in prison on November 21, 2025.

Analysis of Sanjar Karimov’s Companies
Karimov is the owner or effective controlling person of several small business entities across different sectors: grain, seeds, animal feed, timber, construction materials, fuel, and extraction of construction stone.
His key asset is Agro Export Group Incorporation, where he owns 99.9%. Through it, he controls stakes in other companies:
- 24% in Trade and Production International
- 52.6% in Petrogroup NRG
He directly owns:
- 100% in Agro Martis
- 50% in Property Clouds
Also he has 33.4% in O’zbekiston Urug‘chilar Assotsiatsiyasi via Agro Export Group Inc. and Agro Martis equally.
Karimov is listed as director in two organizations — O’zbekiston Urug’chilar Assotsiatsiyasi and Finans Invest KSB.
Finans Invest KSB is not owned by him (founder — Arif Mamedov), but Karimov is the director. The company was registered in February 2023 and is inactive.
The overall structure shows that Karimov’s business activities focus mainly on:
- Wholesale trade in grain, seeds, and animal feed
- Trade in construction materials and fuel
- Extraction of construction raw materials
All these companies are small business entities, with charter capitals ranging from tens of millions to several billion UZS (always below $1 million).
How wealthy is Sanjar Karimov?
Karimov presents himself as very wealthy. According to him, he owns a $4 million villa and a large fleet of expensive cars worth millions and hundreds of thousands of dollars. He reportedly gifted a Bentley Continental GT worth about $300,000 at a football stadium.
As of November 2025, the USD to UZS rate is approximately 1 USD ≈ 11,941 UZS. Therefore, a company with a charter capital of 4.3 billion UZS is roughly $360–380 thousand. Even summing several such firms, it is difficult to justify a millionaire status.
This suggests:
- Evaluating Karimov’s wealth should consider actual profits, turnover, assets, real estate, debts, and internal financial flows, not just charter capital.
- His claims of multi-million-dollar assets may be exaggerated.
- Part of the assets/value may not be reflected in official charter capitals — public data do not provide grounds for asserting significant wealth.
Biography of Sanjar Karimov
A review of Karimov’s interviews shows no mention of parents, family, lineage, or any information related to his parents.
For example, the widely circulated video interview consists of mostly disconnected phrases about cars, villa, garage, watches, real estate, American lifestyle, Dubai, vehicles, interior finishing, and renovations, with no references to parents.
According to online sources (presumably from Karimov himself), in his youth he practiced karate professionally, was a member of Uzbekistan’s youth team, allegedly lived in the U.S. during his student years, and worked as a volunteer and assistant karate instructor at Long Island University. However, his spoken English does not suggest proficiency.
