Uzbekistan condemned the strikes carried out by Israel on a residential area in the city of Doha, viewing them as a breach of sovereignty, an encroachment upon the inviolability of borders, and a threat to the security of the State of Qatar.
“Such actions are unacceptable and represent a serious disregard for the UN Charter, fundamental norms and principles of international law,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
The statement also emphasized that Uzbekistan has consistently opposed any form of use of force in international relations that exacerbate an already complex situation in the Middle East.
