Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, in a phone conversation with the Amir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, strongly condemned the recent Israeli missile strikes on Doha.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
During the conversation, the Uzbek leader firmly condemned the missile strikes carried out by Israel on Doha, the capital of Qatar. Mirziyoyev emphasized that such actions violate the independence and sovereignty of the state and pose a threat to its security.
It was noted that the strikes are contrary to the UN Charter, as well as the norms and principles of international law. Uzbekistan opposes any forms of the use of force in international relations and actions that could lead to further escalation in the Middle East.
The Amir of Qatar, in turn, expressed his deep appreciation for the demonstrated solidarity and support.
