According to the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan imported 65,876 passenger cars worth $920.4 million in January–July 2026.
Electric vehicles accounted for the largest share of imports. During the seven-month period, 46,749 electric vehicles were brought into the country, accounting for approximately 71% of all passenger car imports.
In addition, 10,987 petrol-powered cars and 8,077 hybrid vehicles were imported. Other types of passenger cars accounted for 63 units.
China is the main supplier of cars to Uzbekistan. In January–July, 63,039 cars were imported from China, accounting for about 96% of total imports.
The United States followed with 765 cars, the Republic of Korea with 737, and Japan with 345.
According to the statistics agency, cars were imported into Uzbekistan from 29 countries.
