On 16 November, following the seventh Consultative Meeting of the heads of Central Asian states in Tashkent, a Joint Statement was adopted.
The meeting was attended by the presidents of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
In addition, the leaders approved the following documents:
- Appeal to the UN member states on the candidacy of the Kyrgyz Republic for non-permanent membership of the UN Security Council for the period 2027-2028;
- Decision on the full participation of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Consultative Meeting of Heads of State of Central Asia;
- Concept of regional security and stability in Central Asia;
- Catalogue of security risks in Central Asia and measures to prevent them for 2026-2028.
