On July 26, singer Zebiniso Nosirova, known by her stage name Zeboyi Jahon, was killed in Taylak district of the Samarkand region. The incident was reported by the Millar program on Milliy TV.
According to the channel, the victim’s husband is suspected of committing the crime. He came to Nosirova’s home to visit their children. A conflict broke out between the spouses, during which the man allegedly strangled the woman with his hands. She died at the scene.
“My sister didn’t deserve such a death. That day I was at work — I work in the ambulance service. Around four o’clock my wife called and said something had happened to my sister. I called my mother — she said: ‘Come immediately, she’s been killed.’ How can anyone do this to their wife, the mother of three sons?” the victim’s brother said in an interview with the channel, calling for the harshest possible punishment.
According to the spokesperson for the Prosecutor General’s Office, Hayot Shamsutdinov, a criminal case has been opened against the man, born in 1992, under Part 1 of Article 97 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (intentional murder). He has been detained.
Zebiniso Nosirova was born in 1991. She was the mother of three children.
