Five cases of suicide were registered in Uzbekistan in just one day. This was reported by Gazeta.uz with reference to the Prosecutor General’s Office of the republic.
According to the publication, on June 2, two men and two women were found hanged in four regions, and another man jumped out of a window. The age of those who committed suicide is from 27 to 79 years.
In the Akaltyn district of the Syrdarya region, a 49-year-old man was found hanged on a rope for cattle on the balcony of his house.
In the Kyzyltepa district of the Navoi region, a 45-year-old watchman of one of the companies was found hanged at his workplace.
A resident of Navoi, a 79-year-old pensioner, jumped out of the window of the fifth floor of the house where he lived. He died on the spot from his injuries.
A 52-year-old resident of the Naryn district of the Namangan region was found hanged on a noose made of metal wire in a barn in the courtyard of her house. The alleged reason is jealousy.
In the Kasan district of the Kashkadarya region, a 27-year-old woman was found hanged in her house.
